Saint of the day:
Saint Mary Magdalene
Was she the Queen Bee?

Monastery of the Lady Mary, Beit Shean, Israel, a sixth century monastery just south of the Sea of Galilee
Jesus the Sun, Mary is the Moon, surrounded by the Twelve Disciples
Prayer:

Visit:
Temple of Artemis is NOT connected to Mary, like some people think. Here one may visit the goddess below and her statue
but this should not be confused with Mary, the mother of God and Mary Magdalene.
Location: The Temple of Artemis, Atatürk, Park İçi Yolu No:12, 35920 Selçuk/İzmir, Turkey
Artemis is the twin of Apollo, a virgin huntress who supplanted the Titan Selene as goddess of the Moon. Mary, the mother of God and Mary Magdalene have landmarks which are very close to where the Temple of Artemis is located but should not be confused with the goddess called Artemis or Nike.
